Disclaimers

§  All efforts are made to avoid defects, variations, mistakes or imperfections. However, minor imperfections or defects are sometimes unavoidable with hand created pieces. 

§  Defects that fall within the normal range of handmade items include layer lines, air pockets or micro bubbles inside the piece, surface imperfections from the silicone mold, debris (dust, hair, glitter flakes) accidentally ending up in your finished piece, evidence of sanding, breastmilk flakes and other small imperfections. By purchasing from Daisies & Memorials, you understand that your piece will not be 100% “flawless” and that is what makes each piece unique.

§  Daisies & Memorials will offer an exchange or remake when an item has a clear fault beyond the normal range of handmade variations.

§  Daisies & Memorials uses high quality, yellowing resistant resin. However, all resin (especially clear or white) may discolor and yellow over time, especially if left in direct sunlight or exposed to harsh chemicals.

§  Daisies & Memorials is not responsible for any damaged or missing packages because of mail carriers negligence. Please report this to the mail carrier immediately.

  •  Flowers may change color (pink roses may become white, red roses may become black) throughout the drying process and after being placed in resin. 
  • Flowers that have been artificially colored may especially change color, and the dye may bleed into the resin. 
  • Flowers that have begun to wilt or petals that have been touched or damaged will have a transparent appearance when placed in resin. Please select the freshest blooms and follow the shipping directions accordingly. 
  • Due to the fragile state of dried flowers, you are not guaranteed to have your entire bouquet returned to you, since this would require additional postage and risk damage to the flowers. 
  • If you want your entire bouquet preserved, it is recommended to purchase larger floral blocks, or multiple items so the majority of the flowers can be used. 
  • You may receive a complimentary potpourri pouch containing extra petals or flowers that were not used. The flowers or petals inside the pouch may be crushed due to the packaging and fragile state of dried flowers.
  • If you want the remaining flowers returned to you, they will need to be shipped separately from your completed item so they do not get crushed. This would require an additional cost of $25. Please notify Kelsey at daisiesandmemorials@gmail.com if you want this option.

  • Daisies & Memorials uses high quality, yellowing resistant resin. However, all resin (especially clear or white) may discolor and yellow over time, especially if left in direct sunlight or exposed to harsh chemicals.
  • Large pieces require resin to be poured in thin layers over time to safely preserve your inclusions. Layer lines may be visible when looking at your piece from the side.
  • Resin is a soft plastic-like material. This means it is less likely to shatter but is easily scratched if bumped or slid against a hard surface.
  • Daisies & Memorials ships packages through the United States Postal Service. Daisies & Memorials is not responsible for any damaged or missing packages due to mail carriers negligence. Please report this to the mail carrier immediately.

Returns/Cancellations

  • I accept cancellations (full refund) on all custom orders WITHIN 7 DAYS of the order date, or BEFORE I start making your piece (whichever comes sooner). 
  • All cancellations after these time frames are subject to a 20% convenience fee.
  • No returns or exchanges will be given for completed custom pieces. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your piece upon receiving it, please reach out WITHIN 14 DAYS of receiving your item so I can work to address the issue. Please send clear photos and a detailed description of your issue to daisiesandmemorials@gmail.com
  • I accept cancellations (full refund) on Ready-To-Ship items WITHIN 24 HOURS of the order date, or BEFORE it is marked as pre-transit (whichever comes sooner). 
  • Cancellations for RTS items after this time frame is subject to a 20% convenience fee.
  • Gift cards are not refundable. They do not have an expiration date. If you have an issue with your gift card working, please reach out to daisiesandmemorials@gmail.com.
  • Bridal Reservation Deposits are non-refundable.
  • If you cancel your order after your flowers have been received, you will be responsible for return postage.
  • No returns or exchanges will be given for completed custom pieces. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your piece upon receiving it, please reach out WITHIN 14 DAYS of receiving your item so I can work to address the issue.   • All jewelry settings are ordered individually from the supplier for each customer order.
  • PLEASE make sure you order the correct size, plating option, or birthstone color. If the ring size or setting is determined to be incorrect due to customer error AFTER 3 days of the order date, there will be a $20 fee for ordering a new setting.
  • If the ring size or setting is determined to be incorrect due to customer error after the item is completed, there will be no refunds. A new setting would need to be reordered and the stone would need to be remade, so this would be considered a new order.
  • All memorial stones are sealed into the setting to ensure they don’t fall out. If for some reason the memorial stone falls out within the first year, the customer may send their original setting along with extra inclusions back to Daisies & Memorials so the stone can be replaced.

Liability Policy

  • Personal inclusions include anything sent by the customer to be preserved in resin. This includes but is not limited to ashes (cremations), fur, hair, breast milk, photos/ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and flowers.
  • By purchasing from Daisies & Memorials and sending in your inclusions, you are giving consent for Kelsey Collins, owner of Daisies & Memorials, to handle your inclusions for the purposes of creating your piece and freeing her from liability. 
  • For inclusions that you send, Daisies & Memorials is released from ALL liability or legal pursuit for any accidents or loss to your inclusions including a fire, flood, studio robbery, Act of God, or other accidents such as getting lost in transit. 
  • I recommend that you DO NOT send the last of your inclusions and that you reserve some at home in the event that it gets lost or damaged in transit.

Privacy Policy

  • By purchasing from Daisies & Memorials, you are giving permission for Kelsey (creator and owner of Daisies & Memorials) to use your piece for marketing purposes on this website and other social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and/or Facebook).
  •  Private information such as names, phone numbers and addresses that are visible on name tags or hospital bracelets will be protected (blurred out of images or covered up) unless given permission to share by the customer. 
  • If you do NOT want your item to be used for marketing on this website or other social media platforms, we will respect your wishes. Please contact us with your order number and request so we can make a note on your client record.

While visiting www.daisiesandmemorials.com, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
  • An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your review, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
  • When visitors leave reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
  • If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
  • If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

    • Send you information about your account and order
    • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
    • Process payments and prevent fraud
    • Set up your account for our store
    • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
    • Improve our store offerings
    • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
  • For users that register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
  • If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
  • Upon request, personal data can be exported for each user so you may see what personal data has been shared with our site.
  • Kelsey Collins, creator and owner of Daisies & Memorials will have access to order information such as what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information. She will have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
  • We accept payments through PayPal, Stripe, and ApplePay. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to one of these third parties, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
